Be
As It May premiered at Meherabad, India
on January 7th 2006.
A second showing was held two months later in March at Meherabad
Many people expressed their appreciation of the film, others politely kept quiet.
Mr. Bode was given a private showing in Pune prior to the premiere.
Mr Bode is the narrator of Upasni's biography in the film.
Mr Bode knew Upasni, and is a member of the Sakori ashram
Mr Bode found the film "beautiful" and asked me to take it with him
to show the nuns in Sakori.
In October 2006 I went to Sakori, the ashram of Upasni Maharaj to
present them with a copy of BE AS IT MAY.
Details of that journey are here
Mike
Leaver who played a role in the film
(he was the "mouth" of Upasni in the animated sections)
passed away in early January 2006 just prior to the films premiere.
Mike was the first Baba Lover to see the film. He loved it,
and wished to finance the publication of it.
Mike became sick in October of 2005 and died in January 2006 before
arrangements could be made to finance the publication.
Jim
Lyons, the narrator of Upasni's discourses passed away from a heart attack in
September of 2006.
Jim was a special guy and a friend , he was a great actor, singer, and narrator.
I am pleased that his preformance on this film will help to preserve his memory.
Be As It May.
